A Registered Social Worker with a Master’s degree and a deep commitment to supporting people through life’s most complex challenges. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and rooted in empathy, safety, and choice. With experience in healthcare, grief and end-of-life care, youth homelessness, the justice system, and domestic violence, I bring a compassionate and non-judgmental presence to our work together.

Adult Therapy vs. Teen Therapy: What's the difference?

While both adults and teens benefit from a supportive non-judgemental space, the way we approach therapy often looks different.

 

Adult therapy focuses on helping you make sense of your inner world, past experiences, and present-day challenges, often with a focus on identity, relationships or long-term patterns.

 

Teen therapy on the other hand, supports young people in understanding their emotions, building coping tools, and navigating the complexities of growing up, school, friendships, family and self-worth.

 

Each approach is tailored to meet the unique development stage and needs of the individual, while always offering warmth, safety and respect.
